New Discussion Groups
We used to have some reasonably active forums way back when… but keeping the spambots out became almost a fulltime job! Most forums aren’t very user friendly either. Some people baulk at registering in forums for fear that they will be spammed to death themselves.
To alleviate these problems we have employed the Discussion Groups module of Fogbugz which we use for bug tracking. The Fogbugz Discussion Groups are very informal and require no registration to leave a question or comment. It also has very good spam checking which should make moderating the groups very easy.
Feel free to drop in at any time to ask a question, leave a suggestion or even answer someone else’s question.
